SUCCESS STORIES

Over the years we have met some wonderful young people and are extremely proud to have helped so many of them into further education and full time employment. Here are a few examples.

Dominique joined CST in 2013 after being expelled from 2 mainstream schools. She had a natural talent for Brickwork and completed the Construction Diploma with time to spare. She left in 2014 and started an apprenticeship in Bricklaying. After 12 months working on site she decided it was not for her and started and a completely different path. She is now a registered nurse working at Whiston Hospital. Dom said " I loved being at CST, the staff were down to earth and not like school teachers. Even though I didn't carry on as a Bricklayer, being there taught me life skills and I don't think I would be where I am now without them. They changed my opinion of myself"

Declan (Left) was referred to CST in 2014 and his prospects for the future were not good. After completing a Diploma and Functional skills, he found employment at Belmont Tyres. He has worked there for 5 years now and is a popular member of staff.

Luke and Stephen finished at CST almost 10 years ago and have worked together ever since for a successful family run company called A1 Brickwork.

Joe (left) came to CST in year 11 back in 2016. He did not have a good experience in the mainstream schools he had attended. Joe has now worked full time at Bootle Motor Company for the past 5 years and is really happy there.
